Hello
Let me introduce myself!
My name is Shaela (aka cosmicchameleoncosplay) and I will be Judging the new Excelsior Events Cosplay Championship with a host of other judges.
I have been cosplaying and attending cons for over thirteen years, with a passion for learning new skills in prop making and cosplay crafting. Before moving to Aberdeen, I was so devoted to going to cons and would travel all the way from my homeland Shetland especially for them.
With a background in acting and theatre, I'm no stranger to the stage, and have won multiple awards in various cosplay contests and has judged in several more.
I have a fondness for cosplaying villains, as well as characters that are big and bold and eccentric. My favorite series to cosplay from are One Piece and The Legend of Zelda, but likes to do a bit of everything!
Excelsior Cosplay Championship
Thank you to everyone who attended our first Excelsior Cosplay Championship Contest at Ravenscraig Sports Centre. In 1st place with 175 points we had the amazing Gil (Mandolorian Bowman), 2nd place with 100 points was the deadly Lyle Munro (Red Hood) and in 3rd place with 75 points the venomous Eva Clelland (Furina).
We are currently working on our league structure which will get added to the website in a few weeks. We will have information about our scoring and more content from our judges.
Our next Excelsior Cosplay Championship will be held at Inverness Comic & Toy Con on 21st June at Eastgate Shopping Centre in Inverness.
